Main Focus
My name is Nathalie Gerstner and I have a background in Bioinformatics. I am doing my PhD at the MPIP, the IMPRS-TP and the Helmholtz Munich under the supervision of Dr. Janine Knauer-Arloth. My PhD project aims to identify key genes and regulatory elements that drive stress-related disorders using single nuclei data from post mortem human brain. Therefore, I apply state-of-the-art analytics tools as well as machine learning and network inference methods to large-scale datasets.
