My name is Iven-Alex von Mück-Heim. I have obtained a medical degree (Dr. med.) and philosphy degree (B.A.) from the University of Munich (LMU) and a Neuroscience MSc from King's College London. I am currently working in the Department of Translational Research in Psychiatry of Prof. Dr. Dr. Elisabeth Binder in the Molecular Neurogenetics Lab of Priv. Doz. Dr. Jan Deussing. I am using novel technical and genetic approaches to model and study the role of cellular und humoral immunity (focus: P2X7R, microglia, T-cells) in chronic stress and depression in translational neuropsychiatry.
